I think that in Gin's dying moments he's looking back on his life wondering if all of those people he had hurt and betrayed had been worth the actions he'd taken to get revenge on Aizen and when he recalls seeing Rangiku smile and her coming to him as he dies that wit a resounding "YES" for her sake it was worth it.
Gin Ichimaru, love him or hate him, he was still pretty awesome.
