man, i wished i watched this in theaters...rather then buying and watching on VHS....well i don't regret buying the tape, but still...i wanted to see it all of the first three pokemon movies on the big screen...

lolol I had always regretted seeing that in theaters. Guess that was just my meanieface friends!

I remember it seemed really well produced for an animated film. The sound was great in the theater.

I don't care what the Nostalgia Critic says, I loved this movie to death! Saw it on my birthday in 1999, invited a crapload of kids from my elementary school, each ticket came with an exclusive TCG card! Then we had a Pokémon-themed party at a pizza place, which I forgot the name of as it's been gone since around the early 2000s!
