I love the female protagonist's design, I think it may be my favorite so far. It's cute. I would have maybe put just a little tiny bit more detail on the upper body or something, but I still love it anyway. I'd be happy playing as a character with a design like that.

I actually like the new male protagonist's design, too, even if his hair does somewhat remind me of one of those visors with fake hair attached (doesn't help that I saw one in the supermarket the day after I first saw him).

Rival's design is pretty nice, too, although the shape of his hair kind of makes me think of a fluffed-out pinecone or artichoke.

I honestly don't like the new gym leader girl's design at all, but I'll give her character the benefit of the doubt, because I hate judging things before I play them.

That said, I think the new professor (if that's who he is) looks incredibly creepy in this picture, and I can't help but wonder what the hell they were smoking when they thought up that hair. Just... holy crap.
