actually Aerith and Cloud were never a couple, if anything they were just friends, the couple would have been zack and Aerith

Actually the same can be said about Zack and Aerith, but overall, Aerith fell in love with Cloud has it as been proven ingame and in other official and canon materials be it games, novels about FF7 or other franchises where FF7 characters are featured, besides the fact that even outside of FF7 Cloud and Aerith are still paired with each other even after all these years

PS. And dont give me that line about Cloud being Zack at the time, because not only has that been proven false where it concerns cloud and Aerith by SE itself as well as by Aerith herself, or are you saying that Aerith refering to Cloud as her "Koibito=most important person/lover" is some bull
