Maybe just a "..." option where the Prof doesn't want to get caught up in labels. If the game's dialog is all gender-neutral then it won't matter.

I really wish there was an option the crossdress in Pokemon :s
I rarely get the option to crossdress in games (and even then, it's usually played for laughs or something >.>)
And Pokemon is one of my favorite game series, so having the option to crossdress would make the games just that much more perfect...
I heard that in Pokemon X & Y crossdressing is possible in the Japanese version but I don't think it is in the English version though :s
I hate not being able to express my gender identity in games >.< it's bad enough I'm too scared to do it in real life... games are like my one escape from the real world, and not being able to express myself truly sucks :s
guess I'll just keep picking the "Girl" avatar...
