One of the things I've always loved about the Pokemon video games is that if you play it smart levels don't mean as much. It's entirely possible to take on an elite 4 run, in most generations, if you go in with your highest level pokemon 10 levels lower than their lowest and come out ahead. All about switching out, type matchups, and dick-move-combos.

Bananas, you just brought back nightmares of beating lance in heart gold with a team of pokemon that were barely even 40... that Gyarados made me soft reset at least fifteen times alone.
