Seriously, why did Luka really need to beat this one? She was literally trying to seduce Luka just to keep him from sealing her. (basically molesting in self defense).

She'll recover from her seal, but we really should've had the choice to just scare her off.

She was meant for a quick comedic relief between all the serious battles. (Maybe to also show the players that there's other monster girls living there other then just powerful ones).
I do agree with you though that a choice to skip over her would of been a kinda cool for Luka but as you said she was only sealed so no harm done.

For that scene considering where he was I just imaged Luka didn't want to take any chances with her attacking him from behind.
(After all it wouldn't be the first time a monster girl tried to trick him to rape him.)
