While I'm not familiar with the kanji- the character in pink on the left- apparently it means "sideways, side, horizontal, width, woof, unreasonable, perverse"- I suspect the last meaning is what we're dealing with here. As for the rest of the characters, they're "ga-i-i"- so I'm pretty sure we're dealing with Guy here (Interestingly enough, his name is usually in katakana, while these are hiragana characters; not sure why that is. It could be an entirely different word that just happens to sound like his name, or it could be that hiragana are often considered to be more "feminine" looking than katakana- rounder and such- so perhaps that's just to represent her feminine voice?)
