This is futanari, so why the "yuri" tag ?

It's futa, not yuri kiddies.
Just because a lot of idiots misuse the yuri tag doesn't make it so.
I know many use it to differentiate between futako on female vs futako on male, but it's still wrong. The only cocks in yuri are rubber ones.

Madoka's pushing her dick between Mami's legs, what's the tag for that?

Fappable, Anon 4. We don't need a tag for that.

In all seriousness though, it's "thigh_sex"

Not yuri eh anon2? (Looks at the tag: 2girls). So two girls having sex doesn't qualify to be yuri. Contradiction, therefore this is yuri.

The counter tags are based on body type, not actual sex. "YurI" is based only on actual sex. We consider futanari characters to be girls, but by definition we do not consider them to be female. Instead, futanari are considered to be their own separate gender, and as such have their own equivalent for straight/yaoi/yuri: "futa_with_futa", "futa_with_male", and "futa_with_female".

"Yuri", on the only hand, only applies to characters who are biologically female.

"The counter tags are based on body type, not actual sex. "YurI" is based only on actual sex."

Ok. Why not then have a more clear tag for it? Like female_body or feminine_body?

"We consider futanari characters to be girls, but by definition we do not consider them to be female."

I see the wording feminine to be better than girls because when you look at that sentence, it sounds a contradiction.

Futanari basically means hermaphrodite, meaning by definition that an organism that is categorized as hermaphrodite has both working genitals and thus not fitting in to category of male or female. But this mostly applies in non-human animal world and thus is not really subjected in really close examination in human societies, since real hermaphrodites to this day do not exist to our knowledge. But via genetic manipulation it could be possible.

""Yuri", on the only hand, only applies to characters who are biologically female."

And this is the punchline. Some, most I would guess, take "female" in yuri to be sex defined as a female by simplified human standards. Some would see the "female" to be more social definition and take in to account more of what the futanari herself thinks about if she is a female and most of the time they tend to knowledge themselves to be a female. Touching the subject from the point of view if these things are really and living with us.

But to say for some people out there, try not to be dicks if someone doesn't share your vision with relationship between futa and yuri.

"Girl" infers gender, while "female", by definition, infers sex. These are two very distinct concepts.

I'm fully aware of what "futanari" means, thanks.

Please be aware that while we understand that people may not use words in exactly the same way as we have them defined when used as tags, our tag definitions are strict and must be followed by everyone. Otherwise, tags would functionally end up having multiple meanings at once, which would make them less useful. While you're allowed to disagree about what "yuri" means, you are not allowed to tag based on that disagreement.
