if memory serves she was unconscious when the battle between kabuchimaru and the uchihas started, but they moved around a lot in the cavern, so it's difficult to tell what happended.

Funny, supposedly Anko is Kishimoto's favorite female character. So she shows up for a few chapters, gets her ass kicked. Shows up again 6 years later, gets stuffed in the fridge. It does not pay to be a woman in Kishimoto's world.

Well, he made a couple of females that are relatively worthy characters (if that's what you meant about those two),
So? have you looked the female characters statuses at the naruto wiki?
about a half of the females, regardless of affiliation are dead.
DEAD! and the other half that are alive? they have usually quite a miniscule impact on the story despite backgrounds or informed abilities.
