Finally got around to watching the new Berserk movie today. Didn't mind the CGI use in huge battle scenes, but slightly annoyed by usage in scenes with just a couple major characters by themselves. Seemed lazy and looked bad.

Still really excited for the next movie though.

I agree.
The fight with CGI-Zodd was kinda dull and lame. The fight was rushed and without much tension.

Sorry but all 3 movies are gonna have heavy CGI usage. The second movies famous Guts VS 100 men is almost entirely CGI and Id bet my life the Eclipse seen might be toned down a tiny but like in the anime and be heavily CGIed.

The new ones are being rushed, But lets be honest. Anyone who is a fan already owns the original, or the mangas. I think they want to get to the stuff AFTER the eclipse. The stuff fans who have only seen the original cartoon are wondering about. I only hope they do not rush the stuff after.
