After dying and getting reborn so many times, I wouldn't be surprised if Rika commited suicide in some of her lives succumbing to the futility of her efforts to move on with her life.

She did commit suicide. When she tried to inject Mion with the stuff in the syringe but got injected herself. But yeah, who knows how many times other than that, if any.

Maybe if you've been reborn a whole bunch of times, you just get bored, and one time you say "hell with it, I'm taking this century off," take a knife, and go be dead for a while. It's the only way you can relax.
