They aren't family, a collector just traded them over time.

A friend of mine do that, but with shiny psyducks.

I've raised many normal Eevelutions and 22 shiny Eevee's from my own two shiny Eevee's (with good IV's) so that count as an huge entire family of mine and two friends, but if your friend is so EonSonny...
