I guess being an alternate world, with high tech stuff and aliens, they figured they could edit them a bit? That or the person drawing it / came up with it didn't know.

Better question...wtf is the ADV Tornado doing with a clearly SEPECAT Jaguar fin?
Not sure what the creators were thinking (probably weren't), but little here would be homage to the aircraft they are claimed to be based on, especially since they can't seem to get it right. They might as well mash up the different versions of the FJ Fury and label it as the J-10.
