Certain conventions in the Japanese language are gender specific. Faye noticed that after Ed said something. At least i hope Ed's not an exhibitionist. O.O

From the comments in another pic, it seems Ed was originally a boy often mistaken as a girl. When adapting the manga into an anime, they reversed that to balance gender ratios...
