That sword would be nearly useless mounted as is. No ability to re-orient to cut things, and no leverage with which to stab. The only thing you could do was a downward chop to your immediate left or run at then sideways.

I dunno, if you look there is a pivot there, it might be able to spin and move side to side, still not a great position, but hey it's better than nothing at least.

It could SPIN while making a downward chop to your immediate left! Making it even more useless.
