Nah. Maybe for a Final Smash, or a Fierce Diety mask as an item, but I don't see the rational in adding a version of a character derrived from an item featured in one game. Sure, he's cool and all, but to have him as his own character in SSBB is too flooky.

These comments are hilarious in hindsight, since Fierce Deity Link *IS* in SSB4, as a costume for Link.

Nullname, that didn't stop them from adding two Fox clones, a Link clone, a Marth clone (two if they put Roy in), a Captain Falcon clone, and a Pit clone. Fierce Deity would be fine.
