@Anon2: Definitely. Between that and people either not considering that fucking a zombie might be as bad as a bite, it'd be 24/7 zombie fuck-fest in some places.

This drawing does not accurately represent what happens to a human corpse after death. You think a real zombie is gonna just turn blue and still have a hot body? How about no.
The body will bloat, blood will pool at certain locations, everything will become loose and misshapen, organs will liquify and start running out of orifices. And the smell. Have you ever seen or smelled the absolute foulness of a real dead body? I'm guessing not.

The body will bloat, blood will pool at certain locations, everything will become loose and misshapen, organs will liquify and start running out of orifices. And the smell. Have you ever seen or smelled the absolute foulness of a real dead body? I'm guessing not.

They will either turn pale from slowly starving to death or shades of green, blue, or orange from a mixed diet of raw meat. Along with that pain tells us when we are hurt, and what to avoid, so most victims would be covered in wounds and possibly suffer from broken limbs. So assuming someone took care of someone infected by throwing them raw meat, or making them down silver (one side effect is blue skin) you could make plenty of zombie like girls who look exactly like they did before their brain was fried, but in any color you want. Of course they would still want to eat you, and would try to break their own limbs to get to you.

Well rather then look into fictional accounts we can look at the closest thing to a real zombie, rabies, mental degradation, instinct to bite people, should rabies somehow advance enough it may make the body ignore pain. Essentially you are living but at the same time not. This was supposedly often done to make you work on a plantation as a slave. Continued usage of this will eventually kill you for real.
Science has yet to recreate this phenomenon, but people continue to report that it is true.
