Kind of. I mean, I like these myself, but it almost completely abandons the original feel of the series. I don't know how I'd feel about such a drastic change. Best put, the game had better be damn good to get people to gel with such a wildly different style.

Ooooh no! Despite being vaguely annoying, Sonic is the only character, aside from Robotnic, of the series that doesn't suck. Last thing we need is for him to turn into an edgy stereotype as this picture suggests.

It's a good picture, though.

Eh.
I find it to be a little overbearing. I like that Sonic can pull off an edgy attitude without having to look like a badass archetype.
