That coin was minted between 1901 and 1914. It is 26.96 grams of solid 90% pure silver. Even in bad condition it's worth at least 25$ If it happens to be from 1908 and is in new condition, it's worth at least 1,000$. Why would she be upset to get such a cool gift?
