No you aren't: you don't suddenly "find out you're gay"; it's something that's caused on the genetic level.

Well, there can be a "realization point", as you are not necessarily going to know your sexuality your whole life. I absolutely despise when people simply attempt to sound smarter than others by using words like "genetic". You have to use quotation marks a lot to be smart. Duh.

Calling yourself gay because you're smitten with a newhalf is very insulting to said newhalf. A newhalf, or a mtf transgendered individual is a girl, and no less.

Also the tags on this are wrong, newhalfs are not traps in the same way futanari are not traps. And they definitely don't count as 1boy.

Mariandale, while fictional, does represent a real phenomena in our world, transgendered people. So, please respect this character not only for her sake, but for our transgendered users as well.

Does he have a vagina? If not, then he isn't a woman or a futa. A futa is a woman because she has a vagina. And a futa is also a man, they are hermaphroditic, though they are more one gender than the other. And liking anything doesn't mean you were born that way. Saying something is genetic, or inborn is just a handwave of something far more complex. I don't believe a person is born with any orientation, it's about personality, environmental conditions, societal values, and values of chemicals and hormones in the body. Fetishes and sexual preferences are not hereditary, and if you make a clone of somebody, they won't necessarily have the same preferences, sexual or not as the thing they are cloned from.

Don't take this as as slamming those with those preferences or those that choose to live a life outside normal expectations. They aren't hurting anybody and seeing as no harm is brought to anybody, they should be respected just as much as anybody else. But I choose to not see others as being born differently, to need to do that, would be the same as needing an excuse. Why need an excuse when you've done nothing wrong? And when you use an excuse you are silently condemning others as well. Heck, I want to be a trap(I'd like to keep my body parts, and don't care for boobs) myself, but I still would see myself as a man. Why should I need to feel like I was a mistake to look like one? If somebody feels more comfortable doing feminine activities, why should they feel like they have to give up their manhood to do so? I choose rather than taking on a gender role alongside my gender, to saying "fuck gender roles, I'll just ignore them." And instead of basing sexuality over whether the person has a penis or a vagina, I base it over whether they look feminine or masculine. Everything is a fetish, everything is equal. Nothing that harms nobody needs an excuse, and they aren't so easily explained as genetic or "born this way". But even without that excuse, why worry? Why not live proud? If you aren't harming anybody, that's all that matters, isn't it?
