DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. It is a complete and total reskin, and we're even back to the 2D sprites instead of 3D models. The only difference is a couple unlockable "arcade"ish backgrounds.

There's a difference between a 'reskin' and an enhanced port.
They didn't 'go back' to the 2d sprites from 3d because that's where the Darkstalkers games last were in the fucking first place. They didn't 'reskin' anything because it's the same fucking game and the same graphics (bar a few menu bells and whistles) from the 90's.
Also online play, which makes it all the more fun.
I'd also like a new Darkstalkers game, so y'know, support the series.

Maybe If Crapcom bothered to advertise this game as well as some much needed extras then maybe I could justify buying this.

It does not matter anymore now that Crapcom has put this series in the vault.
