As Windows 8 in the long run is going to suck, as it is a walled system. Maybe 8-tan should be in cage or bondage?

I think Microsoft is going for a simpler is prettier idea like apple does, so the classic simple dress is matches it, and U call it walled, have u used windows 8 RT or PRO? RT is very restricted for ARM based CPU's and Pro is very nice for Intel based CPU's, im not ready to switch yet because i haven't found 100% working crack yet (who even buys software anymore?)

Windows 8 Pro is exactly like Windows 7, even some of the bugs are still here....

Windows 8 Pro is basically Windows 7 + Windows RT (RT is the one for tablets)

Just doesn't have the classic Start menu, shares the start menu from Windows RT,
but you can install "Classic Shell" or "Start8" to have the old Start Menu, that's the only thing missing, everything from windows 7 is still there.

Windows 8 is much faster than Windows 7, it literally Boot on 5 Seconds, so it's generally better/faster.

The one that will suck is Windows 9 because of all the protection they pretend to add.

Speed has to do with hardware for the most part. If you're looking for an unrestricted OS you should get GNU/Linux.
