Apparently they're having some sort of slumber party in a realm between the real and online worlds?

Yuuki is in her online form, in fact it would make zero sense for her to be here if it's offline (for reasons that would be major spoilers).
Asuna is in her real or SAO form, but most of these characters couldn't be here if it's SAO, so it would have to be her offline form, but...
Lisbeth's in her SAO form, which has different hair from her offline form and that's really it, but her ALO form is more different still.
I shouldn't even need to mention Yui...
That's 100% Shinon's offline form. Her GGO and ALO forms both look absolutely nothing like her offline self.
Suguha is obviously, well, not Leafa.
And Silica could be offline or SAO, but, as I said with Asuna, most of these characters couldn't be here if it were SAO. Her ALO form has cat ears, among other things, so... yeah.

So, basically, the real world, SAO, and ALO got fused somehow, or something.
Ah, fan artists....

obviously this is from an alternate timeline in their real world, where Lisbeth decided to dye her hair pink for real, and Kirito got good enough with mechatronics that he made a robot body for Yuuki before she made us cry an ocean of manly tears

I think some of them got ahold of the mini-mirrors from the first saga and used them in like the new AFO world. Then had a sleepover at Asuna and Yui's home. xD Those mirrors did make your avatar look exactly like your real self afterall.

i just saw Yuukis last episode ant there was nothing many about my tears but it was an ocean damn my eys get wet just thinking about it. damn jap tear jerkers they get me everytime.
i dont think it was the mirror that changed the look of the avatar it was just so they could see waht happend.

im pretty sure it was Kyuba(probs butchered that name) who changed and just had the mirror so the players would realize what happened
