I think you guys forget that naruto is a shonen. In other words its aimed at young boys. It just isn't appropriate to show or mention sex in something meant for kids.

Not sure if the creator is explicitly telling them that, but don't forget that this is Japan. Not saying you're wrong--just that we don't know whether the show is like this as a cause or as an effect.

Haha good point anon #5. (This is anon #3 by the way.) Isn't it funny the way the world works? Violence is usually considered ok for kids yet something natural like sex is completely taboo. Go figure.

Personally, I think it feels like it's a lot less for kids with Naruto Shippuden, that one seems like it grew with those who were there for the original Naruto.

@ anon1220627, oh, then I must've been mistaken. Tsunade can't possibly be a woman, if that's what kishimoto is saying. Oh, then there was that one time when Sasuke and naruto were knocked out, and Sakura (at the time, probably the weakest ninja) had to use her wits to save them from the 3 sound ninja. Yeah, the guys were pretty perfect then. Oh, then we can look at temari. Just all around and absolute bad ass who could whoop any leaf ninja genin, save for shikamaru, and that's strictly due to his intelligence, not his strength. If anything, it'd likely be closer to the exact opposite. More often than not, if there is a damsel in distress, it's a guy, and a girl comes to save him. Yeah, the guy kicks ass once he's free, but point is, he'd be dead, if not for the gal.
