But yeah, the most powerful Superman would easily pwn the most powerful Son Goku... and the Superman from the 1938's 'made up' superpowers as the story demanded it. He was seriously ridiculous.
Also, the most powerful Superman actually became immune to magic. Goku's attacks are not all magic based either. The only magic Goku has ever been shown using was that cloud and his staff... well, maybe those beans too.

We've been over this, there is simply more evidence to support Superman winning. Akira Toriyama idolizes Superman and would probably agree on Superman winning. And anyone tryring to argue that Goku would win would do well to keep power level logic out of it.

Before anyone says Goku;Pre-reboot Supes is massively faster than light,can throw,planets,can apparently survive big bangs (not too sure about that one),and can destroy solar systems by sneezing.
Goku is only massivley hypersonic,his strongest attcks can only destroy planets,,yada yada yada.Point is Goku dies horribly.Reboot Supes,on the other hand,gets his ass handed to him by Yamcha.

Wouldn't everything depend on if Goku's powers count as magic because Superman is vulnerable to magic?
The first fight may be a toss up, but we all know that Goku always comes back stronger. So even if he died in the fight he'd just reach super saiyan level 9000 if needed.
