the only thing making it weak is the lack of strong bug type attacks
removing the poison type would help alot too

You are dummies if you think Beedrill is weak especially with the arrival of Fairy Type Pokemon, find a Weedle with good attack and Speed Stats EV train it so its speed and Attack are maxed, then evolve it into a Beedrill, then have it learn focus energy and its twinneedle and Pin missle attacks for its bug moves then have it learn poison Jab, if you use the pokemon against Psychic, Fairy, dark types you will own them with beedrill alone, just make sure Psychic attacks don't land on Beedrill. Beedrill is one of my favorite pokemon because I used one in a 3 gen game and it was one of my six strongest pokemon, now in my Gen 6 game it can use Twin Needle and land a critc on both hits after using Focus energy. Plus in Gen 6 Beedrill gets a Signature move Fell Stinger which is weak but if you take out an opponent with it Beedrills Attack power raises greatly making it a very deadly opponent, Do not underestimate Beedrill or it'll F you up.
