Would be funny without a doubt, but...

I think the Salamander and Lizardman's much more likely for said scenario, considering that the Lilim's autocharm will have the hero drop his sword and whip out his "other" sword without resistance.

1. Not lilim, it's the demon lord who fell in love with the hero while observing him on his journey.
2. Hero abandons trying to defeat the demon lord after she proclaims her love. He promptly runs away.
3. Demon lord chases hero. She's got the yandere eyes.
