It's a sad story, but truly, Miyakawa's really good at telling the dark side of real life through a cute manner. I'm glad Miyakawa exists, because I think it helps show that there "is" struggles in the Lucky Star-verse.

who are these characters? I watched lucky star up and down many years ago, and i do not recognize these two at all... of course, their hair is up, granted..

The pink-haired girl worked at one of the bookstores Konata visited and her little sister showed up asking for food. They also have a cameo in the last episode. In all, probably less than a minute of screen-time throughout the entire series.

@Anon2: They're incredibly minor characters in Lucky Star, only very briefly appearing in one or two episodes. But, they're the main characters of their own spin-off series "Miyakawa-ke no kuufuku."
