Twilight's story was okay, it was the emo sparkly vamps that set it off and sent it down hill to where girls who loved emo vamps would gobble up (Not judging all girls like that though) True vampires are noble beings of power and mystry. Take Record of a Fallen Vampire's Akabara, RoseRed, Strauss, he's not at all a sparkle vampire! He was made Vampire King at 900 years old and if he wanted to he could destroy and rule the world but all he cares about is protecting his people. That is a true vampire along with dracula in my books.
