Maybe Anon1 complains that since the arrival of Togepi, the writers changed Misty's personality, went from being tomboy main girl to a maternal background character. Or just because it is not type-water and breaks the subject matter of her team, I would not know, fans will always have to complain about.

I believe it's the personality change. That Togepi sucks the personality out of women its in contact with and makes them seem flat.
