I don't believe Erubetie ever hated humans. She has the minds of ~1000 monsters controlled by nothing but her own will, and many of those monsters did hate humans. Yet Erubetie is the most conservative in her interpretation of the self-defense-only command? Doesn't make sense, especially when she's the one with the most reasonable excuse to attack humans. I think she really WANTS to hate humans and blame them for everything, but she knows it's wrong.
