I'm actually inclined to believe she's Takaonna, 'tall woman' from much earlier Japanese folklore. As you can see in the other pictures tagged as same, the character does her fair share of stretching herself out, which is a distinctly Takaonna thing. Plus she's got the wrong look for Hasshaku-Sama. The hat is very definitely off.

Hasshaku-Sama is pretty much Female Slenderman, whereas Takaonna has more in common with the better known Kuchisake-Onna of more modern origin.
