My guess is that it's Frederick's birthday (view the Barracks roster to see unit birthdays), and the group foraged a bunch of mushrooms for him as a present.

The flower crown didn't make sense to me (I now assume it's a "birthday kid" kind of thing), until I saw the mushrooms and remembered one of the early cutscenes. :)
