I never understood why people always comment about Ash's age. It's a cartoon, of course he doesn't age. Most protagonists in long running animated shows don't age. Take Detective Conan and the kids in Doraemon for example.

It's hard to take a main character serious when he never actually accomplishes anything, and constantly reverts back to being an idiot with every new series.

The Pokemon anime was dead years ago, and I have no idea why anybody watches it now.
