That's not Gary! Green and Gary are two different characters!

Saying Gary and Green are the same is just as bad as saying that Red and Ash are the same... the very thought of hearing that makes me cringe. Maybe I'm oversensitive, but ahhhh.

In terms of personality, how are Green from the games and Gary any different?

Gary and Ash from the show are based off of Green and Red from the games. The only difference between Gary and Green is that Gary eventually becomes a researcher and the only difference between Red and Ash is that Ash speaks, has an actual personality and has help save the world a few times.

Gary and Ash never Defeated the Elite four Captured any legendary pokemon or Completely stopped Team Rocket

Greens a bigger jerk than Gary and never really thought the worlds problems were his own case in point how he was Waiting in Silph Co in the room before Giovanni whom he could have easily gone in and defeated himself

Red Crushed Team Rocket completely and utterly and never let 2 idiots in the team stalk him he obliterated every trainer who made eye contact with him and eventually Conquered the Pokemon league completed the pokedex and marked his place as one of the worlds true elite


Ash and Gary from the anime can suck it!
