Ultimately, the "2boys" tag doesn't actually imply anything about the characters' ages. All it implies is that there are exactly two males in the image. "2males" probably would have been a better tag, but the "2boys" tag was overwhelmingly more popular, so it's what stuck when tagging policies were drawn out for it in 2008.

We can't really change policies like this this late in.
