Not as an anime, but its been done.
Theres a LOT of versions where Little Red Riding hood is actually the murderer (she just HAPPENED to visit on the same day as the crime?), the wolf is nothing more than the scapegoat (the wolf decided to eat/get rid of granny AND impersonate her on the SAME DAY Red decides to visit?) and the hunter is the police (the hunter just HAPPENED to making it on time to save her?).

Well the Wolf goes to eat the Grandma specifically because he met Red earlier and heard that she was going to visit her, so he ran ahead to set the trap. And in some versions, the Hunter is called by Red's mother because she is worried since Red had been gone for too long. So none of that just HAPPENS to be the right timing.
