No joke, that sort of thing has happened a number of times... @ Banned because it was just too damn good.

A lot of times it was a matter of one team/manufacturer coming up with something new and putting it into action, a new technology, and nobody else doing it, so they ban it until everybody else figures it out... Sometimes, though, it really is just a matter of 'damn, nothing's different, just nobody can keep up...'
