The animation studio Trigger was founded by and employs former Gainax employees. Why else do you think the animation style looks so much like Gurren Laggan?

@Daijin, it probably helps that the Director, and the Writer, of Gurren Lagann are the Director and Writer of this show. I'm not surprised they were followed to their new company by animators of their previous work, or that the new animation is their usual style (dead leaves, panty and stocking, ttgl etc.)

@Daijin, the guys who made this series also animated Gurren lagann, I knew that when I made the comment.

what I didnt know what that the guys who make up Trigger are the ones who basically ARE Gainax, animating every for the past 15 years.
