I guess the guy with the hat was cooking, the one cat thing would eat it, but the lady in red wanted to cook too, so she went ahead and ended making a mess with the food.

In the game, these cats are cooks that get some meal ready for you to boost your power, but they are used to fight also. So I guess she wanted to help her cats and ended up adding poison ^^
