Curious why Square Enix would make 3 games revolving around the worst lead character in a series that is known for awesome ones. How about making crisis core on current gen systems? Lightning and this current sequence of FF's blow horribly, here's hoping for the next gen one to be as awesome as it looks.

She was designed as a female Cloud, and Japan is notorious for having very pretty looking men in their video games and visual kei and the like.
Plus, it gets girls into this sort of thing, I think. Maybe. I don't know, Japan is just really fucking weird.
