They didn't want to call it Final Fantasy 13-3 because then you'd know it sucks, instead of just assuming that it will. There hasn't been a good final fantasy since X. Square enix is good at making games that have great graphics, but they suck as story and battle systems, you all know it's true.

I know how the game should be! Final XXX Fantasy all females from all Final Fantasy gather together to stop alien Gods from stealing women on Earthalon where they live, and special moves are flying back and forth and game over sex scenes and winning sex scenes and poses too and sexy special move limit breaks, spells and summons.
You pick who to move on the map, there is a world map as well and tons of sexy side quests and new game + tons of weapons and armor accessories, Adornments, and pick your colour for each piece of clothing every single one, choose colour for weapons and shields too which effect each girl visually in game with mini skirts and bikini's and long sexy split cloaks well there is
Beach in game, snow levels, sand levels, sexy space levels, water levels, jungle, forest, side scrolling beat em up levels, co-op up to 4 player online and offline but err yeah it might be embarassing to play with other people unless you play with more girls Fuck yeah lol Yep best fucking Final Fantasy ever!

Instead of trying to understand any of the reasons why new Final Fantasy games are good, they press the issue that the new games aren't the old ones, and use that to help them focus on all of the things that fell short.
It's almost like there's such thing as a game that is perfect and has everything. Which to be honest, there isn't.
Generally the same crowd who go on forums for hours every day talking to others like themselves about how they want a spot-on perfect remake of their favourite games of old rather than something new, with a different idea and system, perhaps taking inspiration for a few bits from past games, to make history all over again.
No, but we can't have that. It's not Cloud vs Sephiroth!
{ Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing FFVII. I just prefer the flexibility of action that can be taken in the battle systems in games like FFXII or Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. }
