Melee and PM are superior anyways.
You have no idea how hyped I was and how much I couldn't believe it when Roy got a trailer in early 2013. Now I main him in PM and he feels like his own character more than ever, even when he was already a much more unique Marth clone than Lucina.

Roy was better then Marth back during Melee. So let's all vote him back in, (awhile that we`re at it, we should vote all the other fighters that got cut too). And we're just 1 character short for Captain N reunion, I'm refering to Simon Belmont.

Not hating on Roy, but he really was pretty bad in Melee.
He was simply inferior. His sword may as well should have been a butterknife and he was much slower than Marth. Mastering Marths tipping skills made him outdamage Roy by a mile, making Roy completely obsolete.
I'm not saying Roy shouldn't be in Smash 4. I'm saying that, if he is back in Smash 4, he better be reworked into something to be reckoned with.

Granted Marth had greater speed, but Roy had his own type of speed & he's more powerful then Marth. I enjoy using his special attack stab as my opponents come closing in on me.
