I actually found Xerosic to be pretty loving when it came to Emma. Sure he was still a mad scientist trying to get his research done at any cost, but in the process he became almost a sort of father figure to Emma, which he even later lived up to when he freed her from his control and gave her his Pokemon and Expansion Suit as his gift to her when he turned himself in of his own free will out of concern and love for her. In some ways I actually found him more compassionate than Colress.

The amount of rage I had when I found out Xerosic was using her in his experiment was unbelievable Emma rivals Shuana in terms of cuteness and likability.

I was really wishing I could drag him outside and have Yveltal drop him from the sky and hit him with oblivion wing while he plummeted to his death...

Annnnd then you confront him and find out how he feels about Emma...That he was more worried about her health and welfare than his experiments...

The feels I felt were like daggers bradda... Man pokemon has really started ramping up the feels since RSE.
