I don't want to be a dick, but "because the world is unfair" matches Obito perfectly. No matter how powerful he becomes, he will always remain a loser, who couldn't deal with reality. And that loser wants to force everyone into infinite genjutsu just because he got offended at the reality. Seems legit - Just as legit as he managed to grown strong enough to fight Fourth Hokage about one year after his "death", despite being weak as a chuunin.
At least Pain (or more specificaly, Nagato) was traumatized by war from his very childhood and seek to making his goals in a meanigful way. Obito watched his Friendzone die, that's all of it.

I don't want to be a dick, but "because the world is unfair" matches Obito perfectly. No matter how powerful he becomes, he will always remain a loser, who couldn't deal with reality. 2.He is very powerful in his own right and if you think about it, his sharingan has a haxxed ability which alot him to phase through anything and can suck in and out people and items. if Obito hadn't given Kakashi one of his sharingan, he would be untouchable.
3.His action effected a large majority of the Narutoverse and effected Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi's characters and kinda made them who they are.

6.Obito wasn't brainwashed by Madara, he chose to start the Moon Eye Plan. if you go by that logic than that would mean that Jirayia brainwashed Naruto, or that Asuma brainwashed Ino-Shika-Cho

What makes Obito a bitch is a reaction to the shit that happened to him. He basically wants not to CHANGE but to ERASE current system in the Narutoverse, forcing everyone into genjutsu and having absolutely no guarantee that it would actually work (he just belives what a very suspicious invidual, Madara, told him and nothing more). Obito is not going to search for a meanigful or reasonable way of carring his will. He is just choosing to escape to a genjutsu world. That's what a bitch would do.
And by the way, I doubt that Obito would have come to the same conslusion when witnesing Kakashi kill, for example, Gai or Ebisu instead of Rin. So stop pretending it's not about Rin. We all know it is.

1. Madara has little to no personality compared to most of the other Naruto villians in the series. the only two faces he makes is manic face and bored face.
2. Madara is a static character, when compare to characters like Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Choji, Gaara, Itachi, Nagato, Kakashi, Sakura and Hinata(to a degree) are dynamic characters, characters who changed over the course of the story. Madara isn't changed at all not even from his childhood.
3. Madara hasn't done a single significance evil or feat thing since he was introduce, you can't add the time when he was alive since it was a time of war, he lost to harshirma, fodder don't count and you can't count the Kages ethier since most of them where still alive and tsunade survived even though she got crushed in half, she still survived and had enough chakra to heal everyone. you have to admit that obito has a bigger body count than Madara. the only evil thing he has done is (probably)
4.if you take away madara's power, you just a super boring character.he is all flash, no substance. at least(to me) with Itachi, Kisame, Deidara, Sasori, Kakazu, Hidan, Konan, Nagato and even Obito, they had different personalities but they had power to back it up.
5. am i the only one that thinks that Sasuke, Itachi, Obito and Madara have the same backstory? they all were outcasts in some respect, thier loved ones were killed, they all turned emo, powerful and evil. but with Madara, i never felt sympathic with madara because we never got to see him interact with his brother.this backstory was more developed with Sasuke and Itachi and yes, even Obito's backstory was better than Madara.

For point 5- yes you are. I see that you're generalizing broadly to make them all seem similar, but you're doing it to the point that you're just wrong.
Sasuke had most of his family murdered by his brother and refuses to get a grip, trust anyone, or stop hating everyone as a result.
Itachi - the single greatest actor in the world apparently - killed most of his family because they were a potential threat to his village. Then convincingly played the Bad Guy until he died, and only came clean about everything once he was resurrected.
Madara shared Hashirama's dream of peace until the realisation that it was an unrealistic dream made him cast it away. Then, after learning the truth of the world (allegedly), he devoted the rest of his life to breaking the "cycle of hate."
Obito learned what a weak kid he was early on, got his courage and then became mortally wounded shortly after. He was saved (and given a significant portion of his power) by Madara and convinced that Madara had a few solid points about what a shitty place the world is. True, he flipped out when Kakashi killed Rin in front of him, but he later admitted that he knew why Kakashi did that and blamed Kirigakure for it (but he never forgave Kakashi either- because "reasons").
Your point about Obito having a bigger body count than Madara omits the fact that Obito would be dead without half his body being made of Black Zetsu, which Madara made (along with the Gedou Statue) after cultivating some of Hashirama's cells after their last fight. So...no. I dn't have to admit that.
