Those are not fighter jets, but fighters with a pusher propeller, looking very much like an updated variant of the Kyushu J7W Shinden, as it has more gull like wings (e.g. F4U Corsair or Ju-87 Stuka planes) and more propeller blades than the Shinden prototypes built.

As far as I remember, they're still called Shinden in the Hikuushi setting (at least in Rememberances)
