Snake could totally take this. Even with an body of an almost 80 year old man he can still survive a microwave corridor that almost destroys the only thing keep him as agile and strong as he used to be, take out Ocelot who is in much better physical shape despite being 74 years old and still survive for several more months while his body dies.
In fact, they even say the only reason he's not already dead at the start of MGS4 is because his will to live is just keeping his dying aging body intact. How strong do you have to be that you can still pull off shit that would kill a man half your age while in a body that is not only getting older by the day, it's a body of a man that should be dead already.
Snake is just that badass. Old, young, don't matter none.
