How com Kallen is always dressed as a bunny girl? :?

I don't think she ever did something like that in the anime or had a sexualized personality or outfit. :? (Besides Lelouch going temporarily crazy and trying to seduce her. o.O)
The only sort of canon bunny girl in anime/games without even being ecchi/hentai (or like, all the time. :p) that I know are Haruhi Suzumiya and Jessica from Dragon Quest VIII. ^^;
