from a visuals standpoint it was a nice, from a story telling stand point, it was drawn out as heck, almost like more filler in a way. and they also basically had the Straw hats go all out, only to then have to rein them back in slightly....if i am explaining that right...a coworker of mine explained it better but i don't remember the whole discussion.

I don't think that arc was drawn-out at all, especially compared to Punk Hazard and even more compared to Dressrosa, although the enemies were there just to be stomped on by the Strawhats and show how much they have improved over the timeskip.
